The sole purpose for the angels to mate with women was to try and corrupt all of mankind so that Jesus could not come as a man to be our sinless Saviour. Well done except for the fact that Tim does not use the King James Bible. Even though I disagree with a few things, I agree with most of what he says and highly recommend it for one interested in this subject.)

Foxe’s Book of Martyrs by John Foxe (A great book about the history of Christians being martyred (murdered/killed) for their Christian faith and stand for Jesus. Foxe himself was persecuted and forced to leave England.) This book has been updated by the Voice of the Martyrs to include over a hundred stories of modern day Christian martyrs and is available at their website www.persecution.com. The new book is called Foxe: Voices of the Martyrs AD33-Today. All Christians should read at least one of these books to see what it really means to be a Christian and serve the Lord. Persecution is getting greater in the world today and especially us American Christians who only mildly suffer (though there is an increase happening) compared to other Christians in many places of the world need to see that we need to support those Christians who are standing for Jesus. They should encourage us to witness for Jesus and not fear death. God commands us to pray for Christians in bonds. (Hebrews 13:3 Remember them that are in bonds, as bound with them; and them which suffer adversity, as being yourselves also in the body.)
Sword of the Lord Newspaper from Sword of the Lord Ministries. This is not a book, but a newspaper issued by an independent Baptist ministry that has many very helpful articles for Christians.
